Butler quit after FBI retaliation for speaking out. Multiple witnesses identify Atta as a visitor to Shaikh's home; They ID'd Atta by FBI photos before seeing him in the news; Neighbors used phrases such as "definitely"  "his eyes - you cannot mistake them" and "definitely was here". Shaikh denies it. Hijacker & Pilot, Pentagon; Like Atta, visited the hijackers while they lived at the home of Shaikh; The 911 Commission report confirms  Hanjour's presence in SD and an encounter with FBI informant Shaikh. Shaikh of course, denies it. 

Omar al-Bayoumi; Saudi agent; Friend of FBI's Shaikh; Brought hijackers to SD and threw them a party; Lived with hijackers for two weeks; Top FBI officials ‘firmly believed he had knowledge’ of the 911 plot; In its '98 investigation the FBI interpreted his writings as ‘jihadist’. Left US in August '01.

Osama Basnan; Befriended SD hijackers; He & Bayoumi are close family friends; Known terrorist supporter since '92; Newsweek reported Basnan met with the Saudi Intel Chief in April '01; Basnan's wife got $10,000s from Saudi Royalty from '99 to '01, signed checks over to Bayoumi's wife. Bayoumi's cover was as an employee of a Saudi aviaiton firm. Bayoumi reported to Mohammed al-Salmi, the uncle of hijackers roomate Yazeed al-Salmi; Uncle al-Salmi is Chief of the Saudi Civil Aviation Authority; Uncle halted attempts to fire Bayoumi. Yazeed al-Salmi; Nephew of Bayoumi's 'boss'; Lived at Shaikh's home with hijackers, Bayoumi found home for him; Reported to have known Hanjour since childhood; Quoted as saying "I knew they were going to do something, that is why I got married"; Gave at least $3,800 to hijackers.
Mohdar Abdullah; Picked up hijackers in LA with Bayoumi; close friends with hijackers; Also lived at Shaikh's home; FBI found writings with references to "mass killings' 'burning flesh falling from the sky' and 'hijacking'; Hijacker called him in late Aug. '01, received word that "something big would happen soon"   Omar Bkarbashat; Also lived with hijackers at Shaikh's home; Fed stated "I think he knew it was going to happen"; Knew hijacker Hanjour; Downloaded "stridently anti-American web pages to his computer"; Osama Awadallah; Hijackers' friend; Working at Texaco on SEPT 10, 2001 he stated "It's finally going to happen" then a celebration, according to 911 Report. Name and Phone# found in hijackers car at Dulles Int'l; FBI found several photos of Osama Bin Laden in his home. Osama Mustafa; Owner of Texaco where hijacker Hazmi and Abdullah, Bakarbashat and Awadallah worked; Cheered upon hearing of 911 attacks; Friend of Bayoumi and Basnan; Tied to 1997 terrorist plot in N. Carolina; Under FBI watch since '91, then in '94 & '97. Iyad Kreiwesh; Manager of Texaco; FBI spotted man with Bin Laden connections get into Kreiwesh's car at a mosque in Jan 2000; As of August '01 he was "anticipating attention from law enforcement" at the Texaco;
